
Sources within the area of the tragic incident told AMEBO MILL that the victims were rushed to the Gwarzo General Hospital for abdominal treatment, where they died at intervals, while receiving treatment
Two of the children died the same day, two others died the following day, followed by their mother on Thursday, while the last passed away on Friday.

He also mentioned that the father had passed away about seven months ago, leaving the widow with her five children, while the second wife had six children.
The deceased were identified as 35-year-old Alhaqatu Abdulkarim (Mother), Usman Abdulkarim (9years), Fiddausi Abdulkarim (11years), Hafsa Abdulkarim (7years), Jamilu Abdulkarim (4years ), and Bashari Abdulkarim (19years).
The Kano State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed that an investigation has been initiated to determine the cause of death.
The police are awaiting the medical report from the hospital to clarify the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
